Petr Ralis

I graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague, where I am currently pursuing my PhD studies in Criminal Law. I joined the Institute in 2023. My research focuses on the legal limits of freedom of expression, in particular hate speech and the spread of misinformation on the Internet. From September 2020 to June 2021, I also studied at Cardiff University in the UK, where my Erasmus programme focused mainly on legal theory and criminal law. I am also currently strengthening my expertise by studying Criminalistics and other forensic disciplines at the Police Academy of the Czech Republic. In my free time I like to travel, go to a theatre or read books.
