I joined Institute H21 in 2021 as an intern while studying International Politics at the University of Stirling. As a researcher, I focus on the question of when and how society loses trust in democracy. Recently, the centre of my research interest has become the relationship between nationalism and democracy and the role of national myths in open societies. I will be addressing the impacts of nationalism on the Central European region at universities in Tartu, Glasgow, and Krakow through the Erasmus Mundus master’s program. I often spend my free time engaged in sports, particularly running and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
